Commissioning a custom artwork is a unique experience
When you commission a piece of art, there will be something of you in the painting. You choose the topic and/or reference picture(s) and you’ll receive updates of the creative progress. Perfect for milestones in your life such as a wedding, engagement, or promotion or the first piece of art for your child. It is also suitable as a special gift to someone you care about.
This is how it works:
1 Share your idea
Landscapes can harbour special memories – perhaps you have your own travel pictures, or there is a place that is aspirational for you. You choose whether you send up to 5 reference pictures or not.
2 Follow the process
After receiving the downpayment, I’ll start on your artwork and will finish within 4 weeks. Along the way, you’ll receive pictures and/or videos of the process so you are a part of it!
3 Art at home
I’ll ship your artwork insured to you, reverse charge may apply. When you live close to Utrecht, we can arrange a studio visit. Frame the artwork to your liking and enjoy your custom artwork.
Commission prices
Soft pastel drawings of 30 x 40 cm / 11.8 x 15.7 inch are € 600 excluding shipping. When shipping abroad, reverse charge may apply. Within the Netherlands there will be no VAT since I’m under the small business regulation (KOR).
Other sizes are possible. Beforehand I’ll send you a proposal with our ideas and plans so you’ll know exactly what will happen. Once you agree and transfer the downpayment of 50% (Paypal is possible), I’ll start working on your piece.
